While I fear for the future of the Supreme Court, T.D. Jakes reminds me that there is much to be proud of in tonight's Obama win. The victory of an man with African roots in a country founded on slavery is indeed a historic occasion for the black community, America, and the world as a whole.
No doubt President Obama will do some things that I disagree with, but I hope he does govern as the uniter he has claimed to be. He is a smart man who ran an effective campaign, especially given the attention span of the modern voter. Now, may he govern well and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
